  <description>Attention all ACTORS!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The 3rd Annual Foothill New Works Festival will be holding AUDITIONS for 8 world premiere One-Act plays written by local bay area playwrights. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;AUDITIONS will be held on June 11th and 12th at the Playhouse, Foothill College, from 7pm - 10pm. &lt;br /&gt;Actors will be given scripts from the plays for a &quot;cold read&quot;. &lt;br /&gt;NO MONOLOGUES NEEDED!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;There are NO CALLBACKS. We will cast from these 2 auditions only.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is just a preliminary notice to let you know not to fill up your calendars yet.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The scripts are fantastic, with many roles available for ALL types and skill levels. This years&apos; Foothill New Works Festival includes six short plays ranging in style from realism to farce to surrealism both comedic and dramatic. These works address technological innovations ranging from developing remarkable building materials to instant HIV test results.
